Live from Las Vegas

Clay was so excited about his uncle Jonathan's mission call to Africa. That he just couldn't contain himself. If he keeps this up we may just try to get him in a show downtown. He could perform with the likes of Cirque de sole, Carrot top (he is a funny looking man), or anything else ohh maybe Donny and Marie. Well he could laugh at them anyway.

Viva Las Vegas

This is the first of many blogs written from Las Vegas. We are just about moved in and only have a few boxes left. We had loads of help from our families, so a big thank you to all of them. We know that it was quite an endevour to get down here. It was especially hard to see everyone leave yesterday. I knew that I would cry but I was able to hold it together until others started to cry. My mom stayed behind and is helping us decorate. I do not have an eye for decorating. Don't worry you all know me and pictures, I'll take pictures of each room when they're done and post them. Clay is adjusting and I think that he is really enjoying himself. For me on the other hand it may take just a little bit longer to call this home, but I'm working on it. We have tons of pictures to share with you, so sit back and enjoy the show.

First bite of wall paper paste, oh I mean rice cereal

One last ride. Clay wanted to drive the jeep before we sold it.

Mighty men. Big thanks to Op and Kevin for helping us load the truck.

Unpacking. This is how Clay came to Vegas I think that he was rather comfortable don't you? No I'm just kidding.

One more

Colby and I went to Las Vegas this last week to secure an apartment. We will be living in a complex called South Valley Ranch. It's about a mile south of Sam Boyd stadium, just off Boulder Hwy. We're really excited to go. There are a few other PT students living there and they said that they liked it there. The only problem I foresee are the lizards. Imagine if you will, my little 3 year old bring his mommy a present of lizards that he has caught, Gross!!! Luckily that is a little further down the road. Here are some pictures of what the apartment looks like and what we'll be looking at.

Outside our door

We'll be on the bottom and that is our front door

When in Vegas... we went to a 3D movie and those are the glasses they give you. Colby thought that they would bring him luck. It didn't work.

Graduation Day

On Saturday Colby graduated from Utah State University. Clay and I are so proud of him and we wanted to send out a big thank you to all those who where able to come. For those of you who couldn't make it enjoy a few pictures.

I looked out the window and what did I see....

A few weeks ago, Clayton and I went down to my mom and dads for a few days. Colby needed to study and I just couldn't leave him alone when I was here. So when I was on the phone with my mom whining about how Colby wasn't paying any attention she said that she had the next day off and would love a visit I said I'd think about it. I decided to go and surprise them and I'm glad that I did. Clay made friends the tulips and loved being outside. He had a lot of fun that day.

Rock on!!!

Baby Animal Days

Yesterday, Colby and I took Clay to Baby animal days here in Logan. Clay could have cared less but we still had fun. We also got some cute pictures.

Colby and Clay with the Oxen

Clay met a new 4 week old lamb

Clay had his first visit with the Easter Bunny

There were baby turtles we actually thought that he would care. As you can see, he didn't.

This bucket had more turtles in it. Clay was more focused on anything but turtles.

I'm so embarassed

I just realized that we didn't have any pictures of Clayton's blessing. I must have had a complete brain fart. We blessed him on the 1st of March, which was also Diana's birtday. Colby did a great job and both my men were so handsome. I'm so sorry it took so long to get these up. Please forgive me.

Giggle monster

Our new favorite thing is that Clay now giggles constantly. We love it and always get a kick out of it. We've taken a few videos of it and wanted to share them with you. Also we've got some new pictures and they are super cute. When I figure out how the scanner works and were it sends the pictures ones they're scanned, I'll get some new family pictures up. Enjoy.

Colby sounds silly in these videos but it sure got Clay going.

Clay also went to the physical therapist yesterday, he has a mild case of torticollis. One side of his neck has tighter muscles in it then the other. This makes it easier for him to look to the left. So his head is starting to flatten on one side and so we've been working on it because Colby saw a lot of it when he volunteered. So he noticed it relativly early. It just didn't seem to be working so we went to get the opinion of the pt and this picture is what we have to do now for 2 to 3 hours a day.

Am I getting carried away?

Clay does so many cute things and it's becoming more and more difficult to keep up with him. I know that I've talked to some of you about Clay's favorite toy. He loves it so much but is still surprised when it goes. I really don't think he understands that he is the one that makes it go. We put other toys on it to make it longer because Clay just has too short of arms right now. It always makes me laugh when I'm getting the laundry in another room and I hear that toy go crazy and Clay giggling. You all know that I love videos by now and so surprise surprise I have a video of it. I don't talk in the video because when I did he would stop and look at me. This toy has been a life saver because I can leave the room for a minute and know he's okay.

Splish Splash havin' fun in the bath

We gave Clay a bath last night, and you all know how cute that is. If you don't, we took some video of it that is so cute. I think we'd get in trouble if we didn't put it up. So here you go.

Clay is not really dirty, there is a towel in the sink that makes it look dirty. I do bath him more then once a month.
