Summer Fun 2010

So it's been a really long time since I last got on here. This last three weeks we've been in Utah between Colby's clinical and the beginning of school. We had a great time there and wish that we could have stayed longer. Here are some pictures and I'll be able to explain things that we did there.
This was our wake up call in Las Vegas just before we left for Utah

Stephen won the Phase 10 Tournament

Me ( I look totally stupid with that hat on) and mom being silly.

Colby was not impressed. We made t-shirts for the tournament that had our names on the back. Well....our fake names. Like May-hem, Colbemort, Nanageddon, Steveroller, Kar-run of 12, Alo-ha and Skip.

Clay "drove" the big tractor and loved it.

more to come just ran out of time

Utah Fall

Here are some fun fall pictures that we took when I was in Utah back in September.

This was during General Conference. It is impossible to stay awake with a sleeping child on your chest.

Baby's first power tool

Bummin' with Grandpa to Lowe's. So much to see.

Not so sure about the leaves, but I assure you that he did end up warming up to them and really having a great time.

Naughty Aunt Nan....who cares Clay loved every minute of it.

Brush your teeth

On Wednesday this last week Colby was brushing his teeth and Clayton wants to be just like dad so Colby handed him his toothbrush and this is what happened.

Nellis Air Force Base

Today we went to the Base for the Aviation Nation. It was awesome!! We all had a great time, Colby, Clay and I. We went with some friends Dan and Jordan McGarvey, Zak and Tiffany Rassmussen. We got little ear plugs for Clay, bright orange and really cool. It was amazing the things that they can do, I was very impressed and afraid that they would crash. It was so windy that I really worried about it. Now we can't wait for the next one.

So tired

Cheese!!!

Hanging out with dad at the air show

Probably the only baby who was able to sleep at the show

Getting ready for the thunder bird show. Go U.S.A

This thing was ginormous

We were really not that far from the plane, it really was huge.

new stuff

We haven't really done anything lately, Colby is doing amazing in school and Clay is growing everyday. Me well I don't do a whole lot so not much change for me. I thought it might be fun for you all to see what we've been working on. You know, parlor tricks mostly but some slave labor too. ha ha

Clay is getting to be such a big boy, he can even help with the dishes. This is the slave labor I was telling you about. It's great when the dishes are clean but when they are dirty what a mess

The new parlor trick. High five!!! hooray

"put your hands up" the newest Lagoon ride, we're working on

Yes we do have cold days here in Vegas

Spaghetti Clay

Clay has really hated the baby food jars that have any kind a tomato sauce in them. So today I decided that it was time to give him something with, oh what's the word, ah yes....... TASTE. He's had mac and cheese, so I figured we'd be safe with spaghetti. He loves spaghetti, and I can prove it.

My Halloween house

Today I took pictures of our little house, all decorated for Halloween. I LOVE HALLOWEEN!!!

Do I really need to explain?

Colby's contribution to the decor.

not much to say, but lots to look at

I seriously am so sorry, with the move and everything things just got out of whack. I beg forgiveness all around (especially my sisters). Instead of writing a long, drawn out, and boring story about my little family's lives we'll go on a picture tour.

When we moved in I think that Colby and Jonathan were so bored that they decided to play a little game. This is what they came up with.

We went to Utah the weekend of the 27th for Jonathan's farewell. Here's Clay with grandma waiting to go into dinner.

I love fall!!!

Can you say "photo op" ( at Gardner village)

I can only imagine what Clay is thinking. Something to the effect of "Grandpa, why did we have to come shopping with the girls. Why couldn't we do something more manly, like mow the lawn or put down nematodes."

He was singing along with the carousel, at the Christmas Shoppe.

Soooo tired

First Piano lesson. Keep those fingers curved, are you counting?

Great-Grandma Peirce's Birthday.

Happy Anniversary mommy.

This was taken tonight actually, Colby took a break from studying and played with Clay. Got him all riled up before bed.
